WARUDA

As the education is one of the main issue for society, it is a basic need for upliftment of poor children. Our association WARUDA is engaged in Education field from the year 2001 to till date.

(i) UEE MISSION LEARNING CENTRE (SSA-DELHI):- WARUDA is running 18 learning centres in South-West ‘A’ zone. Where 722 students getting education in a very friendly atmosphere, by highly professional staff. As we know most residents of these areas are very poor and working as labour for there livelihood. And most part of people does not bother to send their children to school. Our society convenience them to send there children for education. We are running these centres with great success. The children of age group of 6-14 years studying in these centres.

(ii) ADULT EDUCTION:- Society is running “Shakshartha” School (Mission) for Adult Education in Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar area. Our representatives held Seminars, Nukkad Natak to aware people to know the benefits of education. Society provides study material for study. At present we are educating 90 people (50 Male – 40 Female).

(iii) COMPUTER EDUCATION:- WARUDA is running Computer Centres for women in Delhi & U.P. (Meerut), where we conduct coaching for ‘O’ Level course at a very nominal fee (Rs. 100 P.M.). Presently 140 girls are studying here. Our computer centre is very famous in surrounding area for its professional staff and coaching method.

(iv) KASTURBA GANDHI (RESIDENTIAL) BALIKA VIDHYALAYA (SSA-U.P.):- WARUDA is running a residential school for girls of aging between 10 to 14 years in Parikshit Garh, Meerut, U.P. under the guidance of SSA-U.P. In which 100 girls are studying and residing in the school.

(v) RESIDENTIAL BRIDGE COURSES (SSA-U.P.)
Our orgainization WARUDA is running Residential Bridge Courses centre in Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandsahar, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut Districts of U.P. These centres are for non school goers children of aging between six to fourteen years. The main aim of these centres is to provide education facilities to children and adjoin them with the mainstreams of education. Sixty students are studying in a centre.

Gender Resource Centre/Suvidha Kendra

Our Association WARUDA is running Gender Resource Centre under Women and Child Development Department (Delhi Government) for the empowerment of Women. There are four types of vocational courses for girls and women of aging between 15 years to 45 years. The courses at Gender Resource Centre are Cutting and Tailoring, Beauty Culture, Art & Crafts and Computer Education. Along with these courses classes for REC and Adult Education and Self Defense are also being run in GRC. Monthly and Weekly Medical Camp and Monthly Nutrition Camps are also being organized regularly. There is a Information Centre in Gender Resource Centre, where any one can get information about various schemes of Women and Child Welfare by various Government Departments. And under Suvidha Kendra we are providing single window scheme for enrollment of various financial assistance schemes. We are working for 9 Governmental Departments.
